What is DriveOn?▾
DriveOn is a proactive vehicle health monitoring platform. We plug an OBD scanner into your car, continuously monitor live sensor data, and alert you before problems become breakdowns — using 30+ years of real mechanic expertise.
How is this different from a regular OBD scanner?▾
Regular scanners read trouble codes after something breaks. DriveOn monitors your car's signals over time and detects drift, variance changes, and abnormal patterns before a fault code ever triggers. We're predictive, not reactive.
What cars does it work with?▾
DriveOn works with most vehicles from 1996 and newer that have an OBD-II port. We focus especially on vehicles 2020 and older where predictive maintenance has the most value.
Do I need to install anything?▾
Just plug in the OBD scanner — it takes about 30 seconds. No tools, no mechanic needed. The device connects to our platform automatically.
How long does it take to learn my car?▾
Our system starts building a personal baseline within the first few weeks of driving. The longer it monitors, the smarter it gets about your specific vehicle's patterns.
Will I get scary alerts?▾
No. We never say "your car will fail." Instead, we tell you what's trending outside normal behavior, the risk level (low/medium/high), a time horizon estimate, and what to inspect or service next. We build trust, not fear.
How much does the OBD2 device cost?▾
The OBD2 scanner is completely free for pilot members — no hardware cost at all. The OBDLink MX device ($159 value) ships to you at no charge and is yours to keep forever, even if you leave the pilot.
What's the pilot program?▾
Our pilot program is a limited early-access phase for the first 100 members. You pay $12.99/month billed annually ($155.88 upfront), get a free OBDLink MX device, and earn Founding Member status with 80% off all future subscriptions for life.
Can I cancel anytime?▾
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time. If you're a pilot member, you keep the OBD device even after canceling.
Is my vehicle data secure?▾
Yes. Your vehicle data is encrypted, stored securely, and never shared with third parties without your consent. We take privacy seriously.
